About

I'm Keone Hon, co-founder of Monad and GM at the Monad Foundation.

I want to help build a financial system that is as open and accessible as the internet. Monad began with that goal: to do for finance what the internet did for information.

Before Monad, I spent eight years at Jump Trading, where I led a high-frequency trading team. I later worked on blockchain research at Jump Crypto before co-founding Monad in 2022 with Eunice Giarta and James Hunsaker. I studied computer science and mathematics at MIT, graduating in 2011.

I write here about decentralized tech, financial markets, and what it will take to bring them together.
